Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn ʿAmr ibn Ḍumrah al-Fazārī from a man of Juhaynah said: "I asked the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): When should I pray the last ʿIshāʾ?" and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād has trustworthy men except for Ibn Ḍumrah, whom Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned without any criticism or commendation. It has a supporting narration from the ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah who said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was asked about the time of ʿIshāʾ?" and he mentioned it. Reported by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (1/17/2): narrated to us by ʿAlī ibn Saʿīd al-Rāzī, narrated to us by Qaṭan ibn Nasīr al-Zarrāʿ, narrated to us by Jaʿfar ibn Sulaymān al-Ḍubʿī from Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr from Yaḥyá ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from her. I said: This isnād is ḥasan, its men are trustworthy, and ʿAlī ibn Saʿīd al-Rāzī has slight criticism regarding his memory. In summary, the ḥadīth is established through the combination of the two paths, and at the very least, it is considered ḥasan. And Allāh knows best.

"Recite Sūrat al-Baqarah in your homes, for the devil does not enter a house in which Sūrat al-Baqarah is recited." Reported by al-Ḥākim (1/561) through the path of ʿĀṣim from Abū al-Aḥwaṣ from ʿAbd Allāh who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is ḥasan, its men are trustworthy, and there is some discussion about ʿĀṣim, who is Ibn Bahdalah, and Salamah ibn Kuhayl disagreed with him from Abū al-Aḥwaṣ, saying: ʿAbd Allāh said... and he mentioned it as being mawqūf on him
