It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/359) from Zuhayr ibn Muḥammad, from Sahl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). I said: This isnād is according to the conditions of Muslim, but Zuhayr, who is Abū al-Mundhir al-Khurāsānī, has some weakness in his memory. And regarding the ḥadīth, al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn Ḥajar said in "al-Fatḥ" (11/345): "It was narrated by Aḥmad and al-Bayhaqī in 'al-Baʿth' from the narration of Sahl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ..., and its chain is good. In the chapter, there are reports from Abū Ayyūb with al-Ṭabarānī, from Ḥudhayfah with Aḥmad, from Anas with al-Bazzār, and from Thawbān with Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim, so these paths strengthen each other." I said: And from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, with Aḥmad as well (1/197).

"Among those before you, there was a man who had a wound, and he became impatient, so he took a knife and cut his hand, and the blood did not stop until he died. Allāh said: My servant has hastened his soul to Me, so I have forbidden Paradise for him." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (2/373) and Abū Yaʿlá in "al-Maghārīd" (1/70/1) through the route of Jarīr from al-Ḥasan, who said: Jundub ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us in this mosque, and we have not forgotten since he narrated to us, and we do not fear that Jundub lied against the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). He said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said, and he mentioned it.

"Which of you loves the wealth of his heir more than his own wealth? They said: O Messenger of Allāh, there is none among us except that his own wealth is more beloved to him than the wealth of his heir. He said: Know that there is none among you except that the wealth of his heir is more beloved to him than his own wealth. Your wealth is what you have sent forth, and the wealth of your heir is what you have left behind." It was recorded by al-Nasāʾī (2/125) and Aḥmad (1/382) through the route of Abū Muʿāwiyah
