from al-Aʿmash, from Ibrāhīm al-Taymī, from al-Ḥārith ibn Suwayd, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Masʿūd who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim, and al-Bukhārī has recorded it in a shortened form, so refer to "Takhrīj Ḥall Mushkilat al-Faqr" (114) if you wish.

"The greatest falsehood among people is for a man to satirize another man, then satirize the entire tribe, and for a man to disown his father and slander his mother." It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (2/411) and al-Bayhaqī (10/241) from Sulaymān al-Aʿmash, who narrated to them from ʿAmr ibn Murrah, from Yūsuf ibn Māhak, from ʿUbayd ibn ʿUmayr, from ʿĀʾishah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā) that she said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and she mentioned it. I said: This isnād is authentic, all its narrators are trustworthy according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim, and it was authenticated by al-Būṣīrī in "al-Zawāʾid" (227/1 - al-Ḥalabiyyah).

"Know that you do not prostrate to Allāh a single prostration except that Allāh raises you a degree by it and removes a sin from you by it." It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/248 - 249 - 255 - 258) and Ibn Naṣr in "al-Ṣalāh" (65/2) through various routes from Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Yaʿqūb al-Ḍabbī, from Rajāʾ ibn Ḥaywah, from Abū Umāmah who said: "I came to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: Command me with something that I may adhere to, he said": and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is authentic, its narrators are trustworthy according to the criteria of Muslim.

"The best of deeds are prayer at its appointed time, honoring one's parents, and striving in the path of Allāh." It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/368) from Shuʿbah who informed me: ʿAbd al-Malik al-Maktab said: I heard Abū ʿAmr al-Shaybānī narrating from a man among the Companions of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) who said:
