the ḥadīth is acceptable due to what precedes it. As for the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿUmar, it was narrated by Ibn Abī al-Dunyā in "al-Dhikr" and by al-Ṭabarānī with the wording: "Increase the planting of Paradise, for its water is sweet and its soil is good, so increase its planting." They said, "O Messenger of Allāh, what is its planting?" He said, "Whatever Allāh wills, there is no power nor strength except with Allāh." This is how it was mentioned in "al-Targhīb" and he remained silent about it. Al-Haythamī cited it from the narration of al-Ṭabarānī alone without the phrase "Whatever Allāh wills" and said (10/98): "In it is ʿUqbah ibn ʿAlī, and he is weak." (Qiʿān) is the plural of "qāʿ," which is a wide, level place in a low area of land that is covered by rainwater, retaining it, and its vegetation grows evenly. The end.
الحديث لا بأس به بما قبله. وأما حديث ابن عمر، فأخرجه ابن أبي الدنيا في الذكر والطبراني بلفظ:" أكثروا من غراس الجنة، فإنه عذب ماؤها طيب ترابها، فأكثروا من غراسها،قالوا: يا رسول الله وما غراسها؟ قال ما شاء الله، لا حول ولا قوة إلابالله ". هكذا أورده في " الترغيب " وسكت عليه، وأورده الهيثمي من رواية الطبرانيوحده دون قوله " ما شاء الله " وقال (١٠ / ٩٨) :" وفيه عقبة بن علي وهو ضعيف ". (قيعان) جمع " قاع " وهو المكان المستوي الواسع في وطأة من الأرض يعلوه ماءالسماء، فيمسكه، ويستوي نباته. نهاية.
