it was mentioned in the biography of this ʿĪsá, and he said: "al-Dāraqutnī said: He was a shaykh in Baghdad." He did not mention any criticism or praise about him. Thus, his status is unknown. And ʿAtāb ibn Bashīr is truthful but makes mistakes, as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb," and al-Bukhārī narrated from him. In summary, the ḥadīth, in my view, has a good isnād. And Allāh knows best.
أورده في ترجمة عيسى هذا وقال: " قال الدارقطني: شيخ كان في بغداد ". ولم يذكر فيه جرحا ولا تعديلا. فهو مجهول الحال. وعتاب بن بشير صدوق يخطئ كما في " التقريب " وأخرج له البخاري. وجملة القول أن الحديث عندي حسن الإسناد. والله أعلم.
- "Worship Allāh and do not associate anything with Him, establish the prescribed prayer, give the obligatory zakāh, perform ḥajj and ʿumrah," - he said, "I testify: and I think he said: and fast during Ramaḍān - and consider what you love for people to do to you, do it to them, and what you dislike for people to do to you, refrain from it." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī (vol. 4 - no. 3222 - page 16) who said: Ḥātim ibn Bakīr al-Ḍabbī narrated to me, saying: Ashhad ibn Ḥātim al-Arṭabāʾī narrated to us, saying: Ibn ʿAwn narrated from Muḥammad ibn Juḥādah from a man from his companion from his father, whose father was known as Abū al-Muntafiq - he said: I came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) at ʿArafah, and I approached him until the neck of my mount and the neck of his mount were intertwined, and I said, "O Messenger of Allāh, inform me of an action that will save me from the punishment of Allāh and admit me into His Paradise." He said, "and he mentioned it." I said: This isnād is weak due to the unknown status of the man and his companion, and Ashhad ibn Ḥātim is truthful but makes mistakes, as the ḥāfiẓ said, and he was contradicted in his isnād. Aḥmad said (6/383): ʿAffān narrated to us, saying: Hammām narrated to us, saying: Muḥammad Juḥādah narrated to us, saying: al-Mughīrah ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Yashkurī narrated to me from his father, who said: "I went to Kūfah to buy some goods, and I came to ... the mosque ... where there was a man from Qays called Ibn al-Muntafiq, and he was saying: and he mentioned it as marfūʿ in his story with the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). Then he narrated it (5/372-373) through the route of Yūnus ibn al-Mughīrah ibn ʿAbd Allāh with it
- " اعبد الله ولا تشرك به شيئا وأقم الصلاة المكتوبة وأد الزكاة المفروضة وحج واعتمر، - قال أشهد: وأظنه قال: وصم رمضان - وانظر ماذا تحب من الناس أن يأتوه إليك فافعله بهم وما تكره من الناس أن يأتوه إليك فذرهم منه ". رواه الطبراني (ج ٤ - رقم ٣٢٢٢ - صفحة ١٦) قال: حدثني حاتم بن بكير الضبي قال: حدثنا أشهد بن حاتم الأرطبائي قال: حدثنا ابن عون عن محمد بن جحادة عن رجل عن زميل له عن أبيه وكان أبوه يكنى أبا المنتفق - قال: أتيت النبي ﷺ بعرفة، فدنوت منه حتى اختلفت عنق راحلتي وعنق راحلته فقلت يا رسول الله أنبئني بعمل ينجيني من عذاب الله ويدخلني جنته قال " فذكره ". قلت: هذا إسناد ضعيف لجهالة الرجل وزميله وأشهد بن حاتم صدوق يخطىء كما قال الحافظ، وقد خولف في إسناده، فقال أحمد (٦ / ٣٨٣) : حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام قال: حدثنا محمد جحادة قال: حدثني المغيرة بن عبد الله اليشكري عن أبيه قال: " انطلقت إلى الكوفة لأجلب بقالا، قال: فأتيت ... المسجد ... إذا فيه رجل من قيس يقال له ابن المنتفق وهو يقول: فذكره مرفوعا في قصة له مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. ثم أخرجه (٥ / ٣٧٢ - ٣٧٣) من طريق يونس بن المغيرة بن عبد الله به.
