al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (4/290): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and in it is Yazīd ibn ʿAbd al-Malik al-Nawfalī, who is weak, but Ibn Maʿīn considered him reliable in his narration." I say: Thus, the ḥadīth is ḥasan, especially since it is similar in meaning to the ḥadīth of Ibn al-Zubayr, which is raised [to the Prophet]. "Proclaim the marriage."

"Intercede, and you will be rewarded, for I intend to do something but delay it so that you may intercede and be rewarded." It was narrated by Abū Dāwūd (5132), al-Nasāʾī (1/356), and al-Kharāʾiṭī in "Makārim al-Akhlāq" (p. 75) from Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah, from ʿAmr ibn Dīnār, from Wahb ibn Munabbih, from his brother, from Muʿāwiyah ibn Abī Sufyān that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim, and they have narrated it similarly from the ḥadīth of Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī. The three mentioned also narrated it, as did al-Tirmidhī (2/112), who said: "A ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth." And Aḥmad (4/400-409-413) and al-Khaṭīb in "al-Tārīkh" (2/5). The wording of the ḥadīth in the version of al-Nasāʾī is: "A man asks me for something, and I withhold it until you intercede for him, and you are rewarded. Intercede, and you will be rewarded." Al-Suyūṭī attributed it in "al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaghīr" to al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr," but he abbreviated it, and al-Munāwī remained silent about it.

"Feed the hungry and speak kindly." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī (1/275/2): Qāsim ibn Muḥammad al-Dallāl narrated to us, Mukhawwal ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlāʾ narrated to us, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Sulaymān, from al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī, raised [to the Prophet]. I say: This isnād is weak. Al-Dallāl was weakened by al-Dāraquṭnī, and Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt," and al-Ḥākim narrated from him in "al-Mustadrak." Those above him are reliable, except for ʿAbd Allāh ibn Sulaymān, whom I do not know. Then he narrated it (1/294/2): Aḥmad ibn ʿAmr al-Qaṭrānī narrated to us, Ziyād ibn Yaḥyá narrated to us, Abū ʿAtāb al-Dallāl narrated to us, ʿAmr ibn Thābit narrated to me, Ḥabīb ibn Abī Thābit narrated to me, from al-Ḥasan, raised [to the Prophet]
