I said: This isnād is also weak due to ʿAmr ibn Thābit, as al-Ḥāfiẓ and others have affirmed his weakness. The rest of the narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of Muslim, except for this al-Qaṭrānī, for whom I did not find a biography, and Ḥabīb is a mudallis and has narrated it with ʿanʿanah. I said: Perhaps the ḥadīth is strengthened by the combination of the two paths, and it is strong due to the supporting evidence, including from Jābir who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "You will be granted access to Paradise by feeding others, O Banū ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, feed others and speak kindly." Al-Haythamī mentioned it (5/17) and the mention of its source was omitted by him or the copyist, and he said: "In it is ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-ʿAbbādī, whom I do not know, and the rest of the narrators are the narrators of the authentic collections." And from Miqdām ibn Shurayḥ from his father, from his grandfather who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allāh, tell me something that will guarantee me Paradise. He said: Feeding others guarantees Paradise, and spreading peace." In another narration: "speaking kindly." Al-Haythamī said: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī with two isnāds, and the narrators of one of them are trustworthy." And from Anas who said: "A man said to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), Teach me a deed that will admit me to Paradise. He said: Feed others, spread peace, speak kindly, and pray at night while people are asleep, and you will enter Paradise in peace." He said: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī and in it is Ḥafṣ ibn Aslam, who is weak."
