and he said in "al-Ḍuʿafāʾ": "Truthful, but there is some leniency in him." There is supporting evidence for the ḥadīth from Abū Umāmah with a similar elevated chain. It was recorded by Ibn al-Sunnī and others, authenticated by al-Ḥākim, and its isnād is weak as I clarified in "Takhrīj al-Targhīb" (1/116), so the ḥadīth is authentic considering all its paths.

- "If any of you experiences wind during his prayer, let him leave and perform ablution." Narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (24/1-2 of his arrangement) from Ibrāhīm ibn Rāshid al-Adami, who reported from Muḥammad ibn Bilāl al-Baṣrī, who reported from ʿImrān al-Qaṭṭān, from Hishām ibn ʿUrwah, from his father, from Ibn ʿUmar with an elevated chain. Al-Ṭabarānī said: "No one narrated it from ʿImrān except Muḥammad ibn Bilāl." I said: He is truthful as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb." Likewise, al-Adami and ʿImrān al-Qaṭṭān are considered good in ḥadīth. There is supporting evidence for the ḥadīth from ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib with a similar elevated chain. It was recorded by Aḥmad (1/88 and 99), and it includes Ibn Lahīʿah, who has poor memory.

- "If any of you feels pain, let him place his hand where he feels the pain, then say seven times: 'I seek refuge in the might of Allāh and His power over everything from the evil of what I feel.'" Recorded by Aḥmad (6/390) and al-Kharāʾiṭī in "Makārim al-Akhlāq" (p. 88) through the route of Abū Maʿshar from Yazīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Khuṣayfah from ʿAmr ibn Kaʿb ibn Mālik from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it.
