ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn Saʿīd al-Kindī al-Ashajj informed us, Abū Muʿāwiyah informed us from Hishām ibn ʿUrwah from his father from ʿĀʾishah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I said: This is a good chain.

"Increase your prayers upon me on Friday and the night of Friday, for whoever prays upon me once, Allāh will pray upon him ten times." Al-Bayhaqī in "Sunan" (3/249) from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Salām, who informed us, Ibrāhīm ibn Ṭahmān from Abū Isḥāq from Anas as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Al-Dhahabī said in "Mukhtaṣar" (1/147/2): "Its chain is sound." I said: No, for Abū Isḥāq, who is al-Sabīʿī, had become confused, and he is a mudallis who used the ambiguous form. There is another route narrated by Darast ibn Ziyād al-Qushayrī from Yazīd al-Raqāshī from Anas as a marfūʿ ḥadīth with the wording: "Increase your prayers upon me on Friday and the night of Friday, for whoever does so, I will be a witness or intercessor for him on the Day of Resurrection." Ibn ʿAdī recorded it (129/2) in the biography of Darast and said: "I hope there is no harm in it." Al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "Taqrīb": "Weak." I said: Al-Raqāshī is also weak. From this route, it was narrated by al-Bayhaqī in "Shuʿab" as in "al-Manāwī." It was narrated as a mursal and abridged with the wording: "When it is Friday and the night of Friday, increase your prayers upon me."
