(3/372 and 389) from the route of ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Abī Salamah, from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jābir who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said, and he mentioned it. Aḥmad and al-Bukhārī added: "He said: I saw a white palace with a maiden in its courtyard. I asked, 'Whose palace is this?' He said, 'It belongs to ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb.' I wanted to enter and look at it, but I remembered your jealousy. ʿUmar said, 'May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allāh! Would I be jealous of you?'" This isnād is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs, and Muslim has also narrated it in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (7/145) from another route from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz with a shorter version: "I saw Paradise and saw the wife of Abū Ṭalḥah, then I heard a rustling in front of me, and it was Bilāl." The aforementioned addition is also with him (7/114) and similarly with al-Bukhārī (3/452 and 4/358) from other routes from Ibn al-Munkadir. The first part of it has a corroboration from the ḥadīth of Anas ibn Mālik, raised to the Prophet, with a similar wording: "I entered Paradise and heard a rustle. I asked, 'Who is this?' They said, 'This is al-Rumayṣāʾ bint Milḥān, the mother of Anas ibn Mālik.'" Narrated by Muslim and Aḥmad (3/239 and 268) from the route of Ḥammād ibn Salamah from Thābit al-Bunānī from him. Aḥmad also narrated it (3/106 and 125) from the route of Ḥumayd from Anas with it. The second part of it has a corroboration from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, raised to the Prophet, similar but more complete. Narrated by the two Shaykhs and others. It has another corroboration from the ḥadīth of Qābūs from his father from Ibn ʿAbbās, raised to the Prophet, similar to it. This isnād is acceptable for corroborations. Narrated by Aḥmad (1/257).
