al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (4/238): "It was narrated by Aḥmad and al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Ṣaghīr' in a similar manner, and its isnād is good." Then he mentioned a supporting narration from ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit, raised [to the Prophet], similar to it, and said: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī and its isnād is disconnected."

- "What the cupper receives, feed it to the camel." It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/141) from Yaḥyá ibn Abī Sulaym who said: I heard ʿAbāyah ibn Rifāʿah ibn Rāfiʿ ibn Khadīj narrating: "When his grandfather died, he left behind a slave girl, a camel, a servant, a cupper, and land. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) spoke about the slave girl, forbidding her earnings: Shuʿbah said, fearing she might engage in prostitution. And he said: What the cupper receives, feed it to the camel. And regarding the land, he said: Cultivate it, or leave it." I say: This isnād is good, its men are trustworthy, and Yaḥyá ibn Abī Sulaym is Abū Balj al-Fazārī, and he is more famous by his kunyah. The ḥadīth has supporting narrations that strengthen it, including from Jābir: "That the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was asked about the earnings of the cupper? He said: Feed it to your camel." It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/307 and 381): narrated to us by Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah from Abū al-Zubayr from Jābir, and in the second instance: he heard Jābir). I say: This isnād is continuous and authentic according to the criteria of Muslim. Another is from Ḥarām ibn Muḥayṣah from his father: "He asked the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) about the earnings of the cupper? He forbade it, then mentioned the need, so he said: Feed it to your camels." It was recorded by Mālik (2/974/28) and from him by al-Tirmidhī (1/241) and likewise by Aḥmad (5/435) from Ibn Shihāb from Ibn Muḥayṣah - the brother of Banū Ḥārithah - from his father. It was also recorded by Ibn Mājah (2166) and Aḥmad from other routes about him, naming him in some as Ḥarām ibn Muḥaṣṣiyah with it, and al-Tirmidhī said:
