and His Messenger, they will say: "We knew you would say this." Then his grave will be expanded for him seventy cubits by seventy, and it will be illuminated for him. Then it will be said to him: "Sleep." He will say: "Shall I return to my family to inform them?" They will say: "Sleep like the sleep of a bridegroom whom only the most beloved of his family awakens, until Allāh resurrects him from that resting place." And if he was a hypocrite, he will say: "I heard people saying something, so I said it too, but I do not know." They will say: "We knew you would say that." Then it will be said to the earth: "Close in on him," and it will close in on him, crushing his ribs. He will remain in torment until Allāh resurrects him from that resting place." This was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (2/163) and Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (864 - my edition) through the route of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Isḥāq from Saʿīd ibn Saʿīd al-Maqburī from Abū Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. And he said: "A ḥadīth that is ḥasan gharīb." I say: Its isnād is good, all its men are trustworthy according to Muslim, and regarding Ibn Isḥāq, who is al-ʿĀmirī al-Qurashī their client, there is some criticism that does not harm.
"When one of you finishes the prayer in his mosque, let him allocate a portion of his prayer for his house, for Allāh will make in his house from his prayer goodness." This was recorded by Muslim (2/187-188), Ibn Mājah (1/415), Aḥmad (3/59 and 316), and al-Khaṭīb in "al-Tārīkh" (4/311) through various routes from al-Aʿmash from Abū Sufyān from Jābir - some added: Abū Saʿīd narrated to us - from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): and he mentioned it. Ibn Lahīʿah followed him from Abū al-Zubayr from Jābir that Abū Saʿīd said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): and he mentioned it
