al-Jahm, who is Ibn Hārūn al-Kātib al-Samarī, was mentioned by al-Khaṭīb (2/161) through the narration of a group of trustworthy individuals about him, and he said: "al-Dāraqutnī said: He is trustworthy and truthful." al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Lisān": "I have not known any criticism against him." I say: al-Dāraqutnī's authentication of him was overlooked.
الجهم وهو ابن هارون الكاتب السمري ترجمه الخطيب (٢ / ١٦١) برواية جماعة من الثقات عنه، وقال: "وقال الدارقطني: ثقة صدوق". وقال الحافظ في "اللسان": "ما علمت فيه جرحا". قلت: قد فاته توثيق الدارقطني إياه.

- "When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, Allāh will say: Do you desire anything so I may increase you? They will say: Our Lord, what could be above what You have given us? He will say: My pleasure is greater." It was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān (2647), Abū Nuʿaym in "Ṣifat al-Jannah" (2/141/1) and in "al-Akhbār" (1/282), and al-Ḥākim (1/82) through the route of Muḥammad ibn Yūsuf al-Firyābī: Sufyān al-Thawrī narrated to us from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. al-Ḥākim said: "Authentic according to the criteria of al-Shaykhayn." al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. ʿUbayd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ashjaʿī followed him from Sufyān with a similar, shortened version, also recorded by al-Ḥākim. Abū Aḥmad al-Zubayrī followed him, Sufyān narrated to us from him. It was recorded by Ibn Jarīr in "Tafsīr" (6/262/6751).
- "إذا دخل أهل الجنة الجنة، يقول الله ﷿: هل تشتهون شيئا فأزيدكم؟ فيقولون: ربنا وما فوق ما أعطيتنا؟ قال: فيقول: رضواني أكبر". أخرجه ابن حبان (٢٦٤٧) وأبو نعيم في "صفة الجنة" (٢ / ١٤١ / ١) وفي "الأخبار" (١ / ٢٨٢) والحاكم (١ / ٨٢) من طريق محمد بن يوسف الفريابي: حدثنا سفيان الثوري عن محمد بن المنكدر عن جابر بن عبد الله قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: فذكره. وقال الحاكم: "صحيح على شرط الشيخين". ووافقه الذهبي، وهو كما قالا. وتابعه عبيد الله بن عبد الرحمن الأشجعي عن سفيان به نحوه مختصرا، أخرجه الحاكم أيضا. وتابعه أبو أحمد الزبيري حدثنا سفيان به. أخرجه ابن جرير في "تفسيره" (٦ / ٢٦٢ / ٦٧٥١).

- "When you come, pray with the people, even if you have already prayed." It was recorded by Mālik in "al-Muwaṭṭaʾ" (1/132/8), and from him by al-Nasāʾī (1/137), Ibn Ḥibbān (433), al-Ḥākim (1/244), and Aḥmad (4/34), all from Mālik from Zayd ibn Aslam from a man from Banī al-Dīl called Busar ibn Mihjan from his father Mihjan: "He was in a gathering with the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and the call to prayer was made, so the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) stood and prayed, then returned, while Mihjan remained in his place and did not pray with him, so the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to him
- "إذا جئت فصل مع الناس، وإن كنت قد صليت". أخرجه مالك في "الموطأ" (١ / ١٣٢ / ٨) وعنه النسائي (١ / ١٣٧) وابن حبان (٤٣٣) والحاكم (١ / ٢٤٤) وأحمد (٤ / ٣٤) كلهم عن مالك عن زيد بن أسلم عن رجل من بني الديل يقال له بسر بن محجن عن أبيه محجن: "أنه كان في مجلس مع رسول الله ﷺ، فأذن بالصلاة، فقام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فصلى، ثم رجع، ومحجن في مجلسه لم يصل معه، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
