and some of those we mentioned: "al-Dāraqutnī mentioned it in 'al-ʿIlal' and discussed the disagreement about it, and confirmed that Bakr ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Muzanī heard from al-Mughīrah." I said: Perhaps that is why al-Būṣīrī said in 'al-Zawāʾid' (p. 118): 'A ṣaḥīḥ isnād, its narrators are trustworthy.' I said: And assuming that he did not hear from him, perhaps the intermediary between them was Anas ibn Mālik (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu), for Bakr al-Muzanī heard from him extensively, and he narrated from al-Mughīrah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhumā). It was recorded by ʿAbd al-Razzāq in 'al-Amālī' (2/46/1-2), Ibn Mājah (1865), Abū Yaʿlá in 'Musnad' (Q 170/1), Ibn Ḥibbān (1236), Ibn al-Jārūd, al-Dāraqutnī, al-Ḥākim (2/165), al-Ḍiyāʾ in 'al-Mukhtārah' (Q 88/2), and al-Bayhaqī, all through the route of ʿAbd al-Razzāq who informed us from Maʿmar from Thābit from Anas who said: 'al-Mughīrah wanted to marry, so he mentioned that to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) who said...' and he mentioned it and added: 'So he did that, married her, and mentioned her agreement.' al-Ḥākim said: 'Ṣaḥīḥ according to the criteria of al-Shaykhayn.' al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and al-Būṣīrī said in 'al-Zawāʾid' (118/1): 'This isnād is ṣaḥīḥ, its narrators are trustworthy, and it was narrated by Ibn Ḥibbān in 'Ṣaḥīḥ' and ʿAbd ibn Ḥumayd in 'Musnad' from ʿAbd al-Razzāq with it.'
