because it is known among the scholars of this discipline that Abū Isḥāq, who is al-Sabīʿī, experienced confusion and practiced tadlīs, and that Shuʿbah narrated from him before the confusion. Moreover, he explicitly stated that he heard it from Abū Isḥāq from al-Barāʾ, unlike the other narrators from him. Furthermore, a similar story has been authentically reported about Usayd ibn Ḥuḍayr, and that he is the one involved in the story, but in it, it is mentioned that he recited Sūrah al-Baqarah. If it is the same incident, then the two ḥadīths can be reconciled by saying he recited it along with Sūrah al-Kahf, otherwise, they are two separate incidents, and there is no issue with multiplicity. This has been recorded by Ibn Naṣr in "Qiyām al-Layl" (p. 97), Ibn Ḥibbān (1716), and al-Ḥākim (1/554), who authenticated it according to the criteria of Muslim, and al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. There is another chain for it from Usayd with al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (2/107/2). It has been recorded by al-Bukhārī (9/57) and Muslim (2/194) from the ḥadīth of Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) that Usayd ibn Ḥuḍayr, while he was reciting in his barn one night... a similar ḥadīth. The mention of "tranquility in the Quran" and the ḥadīth has been repeated, and many interpretations have been mentioned by the ḥāfiẓ, including the statement of Wahb that it is a spirit from Allāh, and that it is a gentle wind with a face like that of a human! The ḥāfiẓ said: "This is appropriate for the ḥadīth of the chapter, and Wahb's statement is not far-fetched." And Allāh knows best.

- "Rejoice and give glad tidings to the people: whoever says 'There is no deity but Allāh' sincerely will enter Paradise." It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/411): Bahz narrated to us, Ḥammād ibn Salamah narrated to us, Abū ʿImrān al-Jawnī narrated from Abū Bakr ibn Abī Mūsá from his father that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: (and he mentioned it). So they went out to give glad tidings to the people, and they met ʿUmar (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) and gave him the glad tidings, but he sent them back. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Who sent you back?" They said: ʿUmar. He asked: "Why did you send them back, O ʿUmar?" He said: "If I did not, people would rely on it, O Messenger of Allāh!" I say: This isnād is authentic; all its men are trustworthy, the men of Muslim, and Abū ʿImrān..
