yes, the ḥadīth is authentic due to other supporting narrations, as it has corroborations in "the two Ṣaḥīḥs" and elsewhere, which you can see in "al-Targhīb" (1/125). (Note): al-Suyūṭī included it in "al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaghīr" from the narration of al-Ṭabarānī, al-Ḥākim, and al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" with an addition at the end in the wording: "If people knew what is in the night and dawn prayers, they would come to them even if crawling." He attributed it in "al-Kabīr" (1/49/1) to them except for al-Ḥākim, and this addition is not with al-Ṭabarānī, so perhaps it is with al-Bayhaqī. It is confirmed in another ḥadīth narrated by Abū Hurayrah with al-Shaykhayn and others, and I fear that al-Suyūṭī's attention might have shifted to it while writing the ḥadīth, mistakenly thinking it was part of it, and Allāh knows best.
نعم الحديث صحيح لغيره فإنه له شواهد في " الصحيحين " وغيرهما، تراها في " الترغيب " (١ / ١٢٥). (تنبيه): أورده السيوطي في " الجامع الصغير " من رواية الطبراني والحاكم والبيهقي في " الشعب " بزيادة في آخره بلفظ: " ولو يعلم الناس ما في العتمة والصبح لأتوهما ولو حبوا ". وعزاه في " الكبير " (١ / ٤٩ / ١) لهم إلا الحاكم وليس عند الطبراني هذه الزيادة فلعلها عند البيهقي وهي ثابتة في حديث آخر يرويه أبو هريرة عند الشيخين وغيرهما وأخشى ما أخشاه أن يكون انتقل نظر السيوطي إليه عند كتابة الحديث فضمها إليه متوهما أنها منه، والله أعلم.
- "When one of you is brought food by his servant, let him sit and eat with him. If he refuses, then let him give him some of it." It was narrated by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (31), al-Dārimī (2/107), Ibn Mājah (2/308), and Aḥmad (2/473) from Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Khālid from his father, who heard Abū Hurayrah say it as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Its narrators are trustworthy except for Abū Khālid, who is acceptable as stated in "al-Taqrīb." From him, it was also narrated by al-Tirmidhī, who authenticated it with the wording: (If he suffices) and it comes in another narration from him. "When one of you is brought food by the craftsman who has relieved you from the heat and smoke, invite him to eat with you, or else put it in his hand." Narrated by Aḥmad (2/316), ʿAbd al-Razzāq ibn Hammām told us, Maʿmar narrated from Hammām ibn Munabbih, who said: This is what Abū Hurayrah narrated to us as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I said: He mentioned many ḥadīths with this isnād, this being one of them, and it is authentic according to the criteria of the six. A similar narration has already been mentioned from another route from Abū Hurayrah (1285).
- " إذا جاء أحدكم خادمه بطعامه فليجلسه فليأكل معه فإن أبى فليناوله منه ". أخرجه البخاري في الأدب المفرد (٣١) والدارمي (٢ / ١٠٧) وابن ماجه (٢ / ٣٠٨) وأحمد (٢ / ٤٧٣) عن إسماعيل بن أبي خالد عن أبيه سمعت أبا هريرة يقول مرفوعا. وهذا رجاله ثقات غير أبي خالد وهو مقبول كما في " التقريب ". وعنه أخرجه الترمذي وصححه بلفظ: (إذا كفى) ويأتي وفي رواية عنه. " إذا جاء أحدكم الصانع بطعامكم قد أغنى عنكم عناء حره ودخانه فادعوه فليأكل معكم، وإلا فلقموه في يده ". رواه أحمد (٢ / ٣١٦) حدثنا عبد الرزاق بن همام حدثنا معمر عن همام بن منبه قال: هذا ما حدثنا به أبو هريرة مرفوعا. قلت: فذكر أحاديث كثيرة بهذا الإسناد هذا منها، وهو صحيح على شرط الستة. وقد مضى بنحوه من طريق أخرى عن أبي هريرة (١٢٨٥).
