and I say: it is as he said, except that Abū Isḥāq, who is al-Sabīʿī ʿAmr ibn ʿAbd Allāh, is known for tadlīs, and he narrated it with ʿanʿanah in all the chains from him, along with the fact that he had become confused, so I am hesitant about its authenticity after having followed others in authenticating it for a period of time. "If any of you spits, let him not spit in front of him nor to his right, but let him spit to his left or under his left foot."
