then it was narrated by Ibn Mandah through the route of Yaḥyá ibn Zakarīyā from Ismāʿīl with it. I said: This isnād is authentic; all its men are trustworthy, and Abū al-Aʿwar's name is ʿAmr ibn Sufyān, and there is a difference of opinion about him as Ibn ʿAsākir mentioned, but his companionship was affirmed by a group, including Imām Muslim. (hubūṭan) meaning humiliation. In "al-Nihāyah": "In it: 'O Allāh, [grant us] ghibṭah not hubṭah,' meaning we ask You for prosperity and seek refuge with You from humiliation, degradation, and decline. It is said: 'He descended' (habṭa hubūṭan) and 'He caused another to descend' (ahbaṭa ghayrahu)."

"Blessed is he who saw me, and blessed is he who saw the one who saw me, and [blessed is he] who saw the one who saw the one who saw me and believed in me." It was narrated by al-Ḥākim (3/86) through the route of Jamīʿ ibn Thawāb, who reported from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Busr, the Companion of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. And he said: "This ḥadīth has been narrated with similar isnāds from Anas ibn Mālik, and the closest of these narrations to authenticity is what we mentioned." Al-Dhahabī critiqued it by saying: "I said: Jamīʿ is weak." I said: However, he has been followed up, as it was mentioned by al-Haythamī in "al-Majmaʿ" (10/20) without the phrase: "and [blessed is he] who saw..." and added: "Blessed are they and a good return." And he said: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and in it is Baqiyyah, who explicitly stated hearing, thus removing any suspicion of tadlīs, and the rest of its men are trustworthy." I have reviewed its isnād; it was narrated by al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (Q 113/2) through the routes of Abū Yaʿlá and al-Ṭabarānī with their isnāds from Baqiyyah from, and al-Ṭabarānī said about it: narrated to us by Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿArq al-Yaḥṣabī from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Busr with it. I said: This isnād is good; its men are known except for this al-Yaḥṣabī, whom Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned (3/2/316) with narrations from a group about him, without mentioning any criticism or endorsement, and it appears that Ibn Ḥibbān considered him trustworthy, as indicated by al-Haythamī's previous statement. And Allāh knows best
