Abū Saʿd al-Muẓaffar ibn al-Ḥasan also narrated it in "Selected Benefits" (p. 132/1) from Sufyān ibn Ḥusayn, from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUrwah, from ʿĀʾishah, as a marfūʿ ḥadīth with the wording of the translation without his saying: "and repent to Him." Sufyān ibn Ḥusayn is reliable among the narrators of the two Shaykhs, but they weakened him in his narration from al-Zuhrī, and therefore they did not report anything from him. This indicates that his wives (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) were not infallible, contrary to the claims of some people of desires!

"Indeed, the angel on the left raises the pen for six hours from the Muslim servant who errs or wrongs. If he regrets and seeks forgiveness from Allāh, it is discarded; otherwise, it is written as one." Narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (p. 25/2, vol. 6), Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (6/124), al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" (2/349/1), and al-Wāḥidī in "his Tafsīr" (4/85/1) from Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh, from ʿĀṣim ibn Rajāʾ ibn Ḥaywah, from ʿUrwah ibn Ruwaym, from al-Qāsim, from Abū Umāmah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Abū Nuʿaym said: "It is a rare narration from ʿĀṣim and ʿUrwah, and we did not write it except from the narration of Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh." I say: He is reliable in his narration from the people of al-Shām, and this is among them, for ʿĀṣim is Palestinian, and those above him are trustworthy. There is some discussion about ʿĀṣim and al-Qāsim—who is Ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, the companion of Abū Umāmah—but their ḥadīth does not descend from the level of ḥasan. Al-Haythamī said (10/208): "Al-Ṭabarānī narrated it with chains of narration, and the men of one of them were deemed trustworthy."
