It was recorded by al-Dūlābī in "al-Kuná" (2/31) and through him by Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (10/21/2 - 22/1): Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Walīd ibn Ḥammād ibn Jābir narrated to us, saying: Abū ʿUthmān ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Khālid told me... I said: This isnād is obscure; I did not recognize any of them, and they were not given biographies except for Abū Rāshid, who was mentioned among the Companions. In summary, I did not find in all these chains anything that could be judged as ḥasan, let alone ṣaḥīḥ, except that some of its chains are not severely weak, so the ḥadīth can be strengthened by them, excluding those that are severely weak, especially since some were authenticated by al-Ḥākim and al-ʿIrāqī. 9 - As for the ḥadīth of Anas, it is narrated by Baqiyyah ibn al-Walīd who said: Yaḥyá ibn Muslim informed us from Abū al-Miqdām from Mūsá ibn Anas from his father in a marfūʿ form with the wording: "When a visitor comes to you, honor him." It was narrated by Ibn Abī Ḥātim (2/242) who said from his father: "This is a munkar ḥadīth." I said: This isnād is very weak, as Abū al-Miqdām is Hishām ibn Ziyād, who is abandoned. And Yaḥyá ibn Muslim, al-Dhahabī said: "A shaykh from the shaykhs of Baqiyyah, unknown and unreliable." Then he mentioned another ḥadīth for him about honoring a Muslim.

- "When a man intends to marry off his daughter, he should seek her permission." It was recorded by Abū Yaʿlá in "Musnad" (1735): Bundār narrated to us, Salm ibn Qutaybah informed us, Yūnus told us, he heard Abū Burdah, who heard Abū Mūsá, who heard the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is ṣaḥīḥ; all its narrators are from the narrators of the ṣaḥīḥ. And Yūnus is the son of Abū Isḥāq. And Bundār is a nickname, and his name is Muḥammad ibn Bashār. And the ḥadīth, it was said in "al-Majmaʿ" (4/279): "It was narrated by Abū Yaʿlá and al-Ṭabarānī, and the narrators of Abū Yaʿlá are the narrators of the ṣaḥīḥ."
