The second [narration] is "from ʿUwayn ibn ʿAmr al-Qaysī from Saʿīd ibn Iyās al-Jurayrī from ʿAbdullāh ibn Buraydah from Yaḥyá ibn Yaʿmar from him." It was narrated by Abū al-Qāsim al-Ḥāmiḍ in "al-Muntaqá min Ḥadīthih" (10/2) and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Ṣaghīr" (p. 164) and Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (5/205-206) and they said: "ʿUwayn ibn ʿAmr was the only one who narrated it." As for the statement of al-Ḥāfiẓ al-ʿIrāqī in "Takhrīj al-Iḥyāʾ" (2/319): "Its isnād is good," it is not good unless he meant the goodness by the abundance of its routes, then it is acceptable. The third [narration]: from al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAmārah from Firās ibn Yaḥyá from al-Shaʿbī from him. It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (1/113/1) and Abū Nuʿaym in "Masānīd Abī Yaḥyá Firās" (folio 88/2).
