"if I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband. A woman does not fulfill her duty to Allāh entirely until she fulfills her duty to her husband entirely, even if he asks her for herself while she is on the back of a camel saddle, she should give it to him." This is a ṣaḥīḥ isnād according to the criteria of Muslim. Ḥammād ibn Zayd corroborated it from Ayyūb with it. It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (1/292 - al-ʿIlmiyyah), Ibn Ḥibbān (1390), and al-Bayhaqī (7/292). There is a corroborating ḥadīth from Ibn ʿUmar. It was recorded by al-Bayhaqī.
- "Excellent, excellent"—and he gestured with his hand for five—"how heavy they are in the balance: Subḥān Allāh, and al-ḥamdu li-llāh, and lā ilāha illā Allāh, and Allāhu akbar, and a righteous child who dies for a Muslim person and he counts it." It was recorded by Ibn Saʿd in "al-Ṭabaqāt" (7/433), Ibn Ḥibbān (2328), and Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (19/35/1) from ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-ʿAlāʾ ibn Zabr and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yazīd ibn Jābir who said: Abū Salām narrated to us, he said: Abū Salmā, the shepherd of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), narrated to me, and he mentioned it. It was also recorded by al-Ḥākim (1/511-512) and Ibn Saʿd (6/58) through the path of Ibn Jābir alone with it, and he said: "Ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād" and al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. Yaḥyá ibn Abī Kathīr corroborated it from Zayd from Abū Salām from the servant of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. And he added: He said: "Excellent, excellent for five who meet Allāh with certainty in them, they will enter Paradise: believing in Allāh, the Last Day, Paradise, Hellfire, resurrection after death, and the reckoning." It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/443 and 4/237 and 5/365) and he did not mention Zayd in the narration. I said: Its isnād is also ṣaḥīḥ, and the unnamed servant is Abū Salmā, the shepherd of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) as in the previous narration, and this is preferable to what al-Haythamī said following the second narration (10/88):
