and Ibn ʿAqīl, al-Haythamī said: "There is some criticism of him, yet his ḥadīth is ḥasan." There is another chain from Jābir. It was recorded by Ibn ʿAdī (304/2) through Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-ʿUmrī from Ayyūb from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir from him. However, this al-ʿUmrī is weak. In general, the ḥadīth is authentic through this chain, especially since it has many supporting narrations which will be cited with the wording: "Perform ḥajj and ʿumrah consecutively..." (1200).

"When you send a courier, send one with a good face and a good name." It was recorded by al-Bazzār in "his Musnad" (p. 242 - its additions), narrated to us by Muḥammad ibn al-Muthanná, narrated to us by Muʿādh ibn Hishām from his father from Qatādah from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Buraydah from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. And he said: "We do not know it to be narrated with this isnād except by Qatādah - authentic." And his statement: "authentic" is from the author of "the additions," who is the ḥāfiẓ al-Haythamī, as stated by al-Suyūṭī in "al-Laʾāliʾ al-Maṣnūʿah" and he affirmed it, and the men of its isnād are all trustworthy, from the men of the two Shaykhs. Then al-Bazzār recorded for it a supporting narration from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, raised with it, through the chain of ʿAmr ibn Abī Khathʿam, narrated to us by Yaḥyá ibn Abī Kathīr from Abū Salamah from Abū Hurayrah. And this isnād is weak due to ʿAmr, who is Ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Khathʿam. It was said in "al-Taqrīb": "weak." And it was said in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (8/47): "It was narrated by al-Bazzār and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ," and in the isnād of al-Ṭabarānī is ʿUmar ibn Rāshid, who was deemed trustworthy by al-ʿAjlī but weakened by the majority of the imams, and the rest of its men are trustworthy, and the chains of al-Bazzār are weak."
