and his matter did not stop at this deception of the readers but extended to lying about the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). He says (p. 13): "The first to use a piece of earth to prostrate upon was our Prophet Muḥammad (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in the third year of Hijrah when the great war occurred between the Muslims and Quraysh at Uḥud, and the greatest pillar of Islam, Ḥamzah ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, the uncle of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), was destroyed. The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) ordered the women of the Muslims to mourn him in every gathering, and the matter expanded in his honor to the point that they began to take soil from his grave, seeking blessings from it and prostrating on it to Allāh, and making prayer beads from it as mentioned in the book 'The Land and the Soil of Ḥusaynīyah' and his companions, among them the jurist ...". The mentioned book is one of the Shīʿah books, so reflect, dear reader, on how he lied about the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) by claiming that he was the first to make a disc for prostration upon, and then he did not provide any support for his claim except another lie, which is his command (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) for women to mourn Ḥamzah in every gathering. Even though there is no connection between this, if it were true, and the making of the disc as is apparent, it is not correct regarding the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), especially since it has been authentically reported from him that he took a pledge from the women during their allegiance to him not to wail, as narrated by al-Shaykhān and others from Umm ʿAṭiyyah (see our book 'The Rulings of Funerals' p. 28). It seems to me that he built the previous two lies on a third lie, which is his statement about the companions of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "The matter expanded in his honor to the point that they began to take soil from his grave, seeking blessings from it and prostrating on it to Allāh ...". This is a lie against the Companions (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhum), and far be it from them to commit such idolatry. It suffices the reader as evidence of this Shīʿī's fabrication against the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and his Companions that he could not attribute it to a known source from the sources of Muslims, except for the book 'The Land and the Soil of Ḥusaynīyah', which is from some of their later authors and an obscure author among them. For some reason, the Shīʿī did not dare to name him and reveal his identity so that his matter would not be exposed by mentioning him as a source for his lies! He did not stop at the previous lies against the early predecessors but extended to lying about those after them, so listen to the continuation of his previous statement:
