that it has been reported from the Imams of the pure family, peace be upon them, that prostrating on it illuminates to the seventh earth. Another [report states]: it pierces the seven veils, and in another: Allāh accepts the prayer of one who prostrates on it in a way that He does not accept from others, and in another: prostrating on the clay of al-Ḥusayn's grave illuminates the lands." Such ḥadīths are evidently false according to us, and the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt are free from them. They have no isnāds with them that can be critiqued according to the methodology and principles of ḥadīth science; rather, they are mursal and muʿḍal! The author of the treatise did not suffice with darkening it with such alleged reports attributed to the Imams of the House, but went on to mislead readers into thinking that similar reports are narrated in our books, we the Ahl al-Sunnah. Here he says: (p. 19): "The ḥadīths about the virtue and sanctity of this ḥusaynī soil are not limited to the ḥadīths of the Imams, for such ḥadīths have ample fame in the primary books of the other Islamic sects through their scholars and narrators. Among them is what al-Suyūṭī narrated in his book 'al-Khaṣāʾiṣ al-Kubrā' in the 'Chapter on the Prophet's (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) Foretelling of al-Ḥusayn's (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) Killing,' where he narrated nearly twenty ḥadīths from their most trustworthy figures such as al-Ḥākim, al-Bayhaqī, Abū Nuʿaym, al-Ṭabarānī, and al-Haythamī in 'al-Majmaʿ' (9/191) and others among their famous narrators." Know, O Muslim, that neither al-Suyūṭī nor al-Haythamī have even a single ḥadīth indicating the virtue and sanctity of the ḥusaynī soil. All that is in them, agreed upon by their individual parts, is his (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) foretelling of his killing there. I have presented to you earlier a selection of them; do you see in them what the Shīʿī claimed in his treatise about al-Suyūṭī and al-Haythamī? By Allāh, no, but the Shīʿah, in their pursuit of supporting their misguidance and innovations, cling to what is weaker than a spider's web!
فقد ورد الحديث عن أئمة العترة الطاهرة عليهم السلام أن السجود عليها ينور إلى الأرض السابعة. وآخر: أنه يخرق الحجب السبعة، وفي (آخر) : يقبل الله صلاة من يسجد عليها ما لم يقبله من غيرها، وفي (آخر) أن السجود على طين قبر الحسين ينور الأرضين ". ومثل هذه الأحاديث ظاهرة البطلان عندنا وأئمة أهل البيت ﵃ براء منها وليس لها أسانيد عندهم ليمكن نقدها على نهج علم الحديث وأصوله وإنما هي مراسيل ومعضلات! ولم يكتف مؤلف الرسالة بتسويدها بمثل هذه النقول المزعومة على أئمة البيت حتى راح يوهم القراء أنها مروية مثلها في كتبنا نحن أهل السنة، فها هو يقول: (ص ١٩) : " وليس أحاديث فضل هذه التربة الحسينية وقداستها منحصرة بأحاديث الأئمة ﵈، إذ أن أمثال هذه الأحاديث لها شهرة وافرة في أمهات كتب بقية الفرق الإسلامية عن طريق علمائهم ورواتهم، ومنها ما رواه السيوطي في كتابه " الخصائص الكبرى " في " باب إخبار النبي ﷺ بقتل الحسين ﵇، وروى فيه ما يناهز العشرين حديثا عن أكابر ثقاتهم كالحاكم والبيهقي وأبي نعيم والطبراني (١) والهيثمي في " المجمع " (٩ / ١٩١) وأمثالهم من مشاهير رواتهم ". فاعلم أيها المسلم أنه ليس عند السيوطي ولا الهيثمي ولو حديث واحد يدل على فضل التربة الحسينية وقداستها، وكل ما فيها مما اتفقت عليه مفرداتها إنما هو إخباره ﷺ بقتله فيها، وقد سقت لك آنفا نخبة منها، فهل ترى فيها ما ادعاه الشيعي في رسالته على السيوطي والهيثمي؟ ! اللهم لا، ولكن الشيعة في سبيل تأييد ضلالاتهم وبدعهم يتعلقون بما هو أوهى من بيت العنكبوت! .
