- "The rider should greet the pedestrian, the pedestrian should greet the one sitting, and the few should greet the many." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad," al-Tirmidhī, and Aḥmad through the route of Abū Hānī Ḥumayd ibn Hānī al-Khūlānī from Abū ʿAlī al-Janbī from Faḍālah ibn ʿUbayd as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Al-Tirmidhī said: "It is a ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth, and Abū ʿAlī al-Janbī's name is ʿAmr ibn Mālik." It was also narrated by al-Nasāʾī and Ibn Ḥibbān in "his Ṣaḥīḥ" as mentioned in "al-Fatḥ." It has also been reported with the wording: (The rider should greet) and it was mentioned earlier.
- " يسلم الفارس على الماشي والماشي على القاعد والقليل على الكثير ". أخرجه البخاري في " الأدب المفرد " والترمذي وأحمد من طريق أبي هاني حميد بن هاني الخولاني عن أبي علي الجنبي عن فضالة بن عبيد مرفوعا: وقال الترمذي: " حديث حسن صحيح وأبو علي الجنبي اسمه عمرو ابن مالك ". ورواه النسائي وابن حبان في " صحيحه " كما في " الفتح ". وقد ورد بلفظ: (يسلم الراكب) وقد مضى قريبا.

"Make things easy and do not make them difficult, give glad tidings and do not repel people, and cooperate and do not differ." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (4/26 - 5/108 and 7/101 and 8/114), Muslim (5/141), al-Ṭayālisī (p. 67, no. 496), and Aḥmad (4/412 and 417) through the route of Shuʿbah from Saʿīd ibn Abī Burdah from his father from his grandfather that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) sent him and Muʿādh to Yemen and said: and he mentioned it. It has been reported in two other wordings: one is: "When he sent one of his Companions," and the other: "Call the people," and they were mentioned earlier. It has a supporting narration with the wording: (Make things easy and do not make them difficult, calm and do not repel). It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (7/101) and Muslim (5/141) from the ḥadīth of Anas. It was also recorded by Aḥmad (3/131).
" يسرا ولا تعسرا وبشرا ولا تنفرا وتطاوعا ولا تختلفا ". أخرجه البخاري (٤ / ٢٦ - ٥ / ١٠٨ و ٧ / ١٠١ و ٨ / ١١٤) ومسلم (٥ / ١٤١) والطيالسي (ص ٦٧ رقم ٤٩٦) وأحمد (٤ / ٤١٢ و ٤١٧) من طريق شعبة عن سعيد ابن أبي بردة عن أبيه عن جده أن النبي ﷺ بعثه ومعاذا إلى اليمن فقال: فذكره. وقد ورد بلفظين آخرين: أحدهما: " كان إذا بعث أحدا من أصحابه " والآخر: " ادعوا الناس " وقد سبقا. وله شاهد بلفظ: (يسروا ولا تعسروا وسكنوا ولا تنفروا) . أخرجه البخاري (٧ / ١٠١) ومسلم (٥ / ١٤١) من حديث أنس. وكذلك أخرجه أحمد (٣ / ١٣١) .
