2 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Thaʿlabah, it is narrated by al-Aḥwaṣ ibn Ḥakīm from Mahāṣir ibn Ḥabīb from him. It was recorded by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim (folios 42-43), Muḥammad ibn ʿUthmān ibn Abī Shaybah in "al-ʿArsh" (118/2), Abū al-Qāsim al-Azjī in "Ḥadīthih" (67/1), and al-Lālakāʾī in "al-Sunnah" (1/99-100), as well as by al-Ṭabarānī as mentioned in "al-Majmaʿ," who said: "al-Aḥwaṣ ibn Ḥakīm is weak." Al-Mundhirī mentioned in "al-Targhīb" (3/283) that al-Ṭabarānī and al-Bayhaqī also recorded it from Makhūl from Abū Thaʿlabah, and al-Bayhaqī said: "It is mursal jayyid between Makhūl and Abū Thaʿlabah." 3 - As for the ḥadīth of ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, it is narrated by Ibn Lahīʿah, who said: Ḥayy ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us from Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ḥublī from him. It was recorded by Aḥmad (no. 6642). I say: This isnād is acceptable for follow-ups and supporting evidence. Al-Haythamī said: "Ibn Lahīʿah is lenient in ḥadīth, and the rest of the men are trustworthy." Al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Mundhirī said: (3/283) "Its isnād is lenient." I say: But he was followed by Rushdīn ibn Saʿd from Ḥayy with it. It was recorded by Ibn Ḥayyūyah in "Ḥadīthih." (3/10/1) Thus, the ḥadīth is ḥasan. 4 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Mūsá, it is also narrated by Ibn Lahīʿah from al-Zubayr ibn Sulaym from al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from his father, who said: I heard Abū Mūsá narrate from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) something similar. It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (1390) and Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim al-Lālakāʾī. I say: This isnād is weak due to Ibn Lahīʿah. And ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, who is Ibn ʿArzab, the father of al-Ḍaḥḥāk, is unknown. Ibn Mājah omitted him in his narration from Ibn Lahīʿah
