5 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, it is narrated by Hishām ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from al-Aʿmash from Abū Ṣāliḥ from him, reported in a marfūʿ form with the wording: "On the night of the middle of Shaʿbān, Allāh forgives His servants except for a polytheist or one harboring enmity." It was recorded by al-Bazzār in his "Musnad" (p. 245 - Zawāʾid). Al-Haythamī said: "I did not know Hishām ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, but the rest of the narrators are trustworthy." 6 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, it is narrated by ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿAbd al-Malik from Muṣʿab ibn Abī Dhūʾayb from al-Qāsim ibn Muḥammad from his father or uncle from him. It was recorded by al-Bazzār as well as Ibn Khuzaymah in "al-Tawḥīd" (p. 90), Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim, al-Lālakāʾī in "al-Sunnah" (1/99/1), Abū Nuʿaym in "Akhbār Aṣbahān" (2/2), and al-Bayhaqī as mentioned in "al-Targhīb" (3/283), who said: "There is no harm in its isnād." Al-Haythamī said: "ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿAbd al-Malik was mentioned by Ibn Abī Ḥātim in 'al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl' and was not weakened. The rest of the narrators are trustworthy." This is what they both said, and this ʿAbd al-Malik was remarked upon by al-Bukhārī: "There is some consideration in his ḥadīth," referring to this ḥadīth as in "al-Mīzān." 7 - As for the ḥadīth of ʿAwf ibn Mālik, it is narrated by Ibn Lahīʿah from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Anʿam from ʿUbādah ibn Nasī from Kathīr ibn Murrah from him. It was recorded by Abū Muḥammad al-Jawharī in "al-Majlis al-Sābiʿ" and al-Bazzār in "Musnad" (p. 245) who said: "Its isnād is weak." I said: Its defect is this ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, and al-Haythamī criticized it by saying: "Aḥmad ibn Ṣāliḥ considered him trustworthy, but the majority of the imams considered him weak, and Ibn Lahīʿah is lenient, while the rest of the narrators are trustworthy."
٥ - وأما حديث أبي هريرة فيرويه هشام بن عبد الرحمن عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عنه مرفوعا بلفظ: " إذا كان ليلة النصف من شعبان يغفر الله لعباده إلا لمشرك أو مشاحن ". أخرجه البزار في " مسنده " (ص ٢٤٥ - زوائده) . قال الهيثمي: " وهشام بن عبد الرحمن لم أعرفه، وبقية رجاله ثقات ". ٦ - وأما حديث أبي بكر الصديق فيرويه عبد الملك بن عبد الملك عن مصعب بن أبي ذئب عن القاسم بن محمد عن أبيه أو عمه عنه. أخرجه البزار أيضا وابن خزيمة في " التوحيد " (ص ٩٠) وابن أبي عاصم واللالكائي في " السنة " (١ / ٩٩ / ١) وأبو نعيم في " أخبار أصبهان " (٢ / ٢) والبيهقي كما في " الترغيب " (٣ / ٢٨٣) وقال: " لا بأس بإسناده "! وقال الهيثمي: " وعبد الملك بن عبد الملك ذكره ابن أبي حاتم في " الجرح والتعديل " ولم يضعفه. وبقية رجاله ثقات "! كذا قالا، وعبد الملك هذا قال البخاري: " في حديثه نظر ". يريدهذا الحديث كما في " الميزان ". ٧ - وأما حديث عوف ابن مالك فيرويه ابن لهيعة عن عبد الرحمن ابن أنعم عن عبادة ابن نسي عن كثير بن مرة عنه. أخرجه أبو محمد الجوهري في " المجلس السابع " والبزار في " مسنده " (ص ٢٤٥) وقال: " إسناده ضعيف ". قلت: وعلته عبد الرحمن هذا وبه أعله الهيثمي فقال: " وثقة أحمد بن صالح وضعفه جمهور الأئمة، وابن لهيعة لين وبقية رجاله ثقات ".
