- "ʿĀʾishah is my wife in Paradise." It was recorded by Ibn Saʿd (8/66) from Muslim al-Baṭīn who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said it, and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād consists of trustworthy men according to the standards of Muslim, but it is mursal because Muslim, who is Ibn ʿImrān al-Baṭīn, is among the younger tābiʿīn. However, it is among the authentic mursal reports because it has many supporting evidences indicating its authenticity. The first: From ʿĀʾishah that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ mentioned Fāṭimah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā). She said: I spoke, and he said: "Are you not pleased to be my wife in this world and the Hereafter?" I said: Yes. He said: "Then you are my wife in this world and the Hereafter." It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (4/10) through the route of Abū al-ʿAnbas Saʿīd ibn Kathīr from his father, who said: ʿĀʾishah narrated to us... And he said: "This Abū al-ʿAnbas is trustworthy, and the ḥadīth is authentic." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him. I said: And Abū Kathīr ibn ʿUbayd al-Taymī was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Ḥibbān, and a group narrated from him. The second: From her also, she said: "I said: O Messenger of Allāh, which of your wives are in Paradise? He said: Indeed, you are among them." It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (4/13) through the route of Yūsuf ibn Yaʿqūb al-Mājishūn: My father narrated to me from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Kaʿb ibn Mālik from her, and he said: "The isnād is authentic." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him. And I say: It is according to the criteria of Muslim. It was also recorded by Ibn Saʿd (8/65) through the route of Usāmah ibn Zayd al-Laythī from Abū Salamah al-Mājishūn from Abū Muḥammad, the client of the Ghaffārīn, that ʿĀʾishah said it, and he mentioned something similar. And this Abū Salamah is the father of the aforementioned Yaʿqūb, and I did not find anyone who translated him
