Sufyān al-Thawrī from Abū al-Zubayr from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh from ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb, attributed [to the Prophet]. Muslim also narrated it from the path of Maʿqil, who is Ibn ʿUbayd Allāh, from Abū al-Zubayr with this same isnād. A group followed him from Abū al-Zubayr, and it was previously mentioned with the wording "I will expel the Jews" (924). Al-Ḥākim included the ḥadīth and criticized Muslim for omitting it, excusing him by noting that Muslim (may Allāh have mercy on him) did not include its wording but referred to the previous wording there. This is the reason for al-Suyūṭī's shortcoming in not attributing it in his books "al-Jāmiʿ al-Kabīr" (2/119/1) and "Dhail al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaghīr," where he attributed it only to al-Tirmidhī and al-Ḥākim! In "al-Fatḥ al-Kabīr" (2/7), it was attributed to Abū Dāwūd instead of al-Ḥākim, which is a typographical error, even if it is correct in itself. "Note" al-Suyūṭī mentioned it in the two aforementioned sources with the wording: "Expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula." He attributed it to Muslim from ʿUmar, but I did not find it with him in this wording at all, only with the wording "the polytheists" and from the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAbbās as mentioned in the previous ḥadīth.

"Go out and proclaim to the people: whoever testifies that there is no deity but Allāh, Paradise is guaranteed for him." It was narrated by Abū Yaʿlá in "his Musnad" (p. 35 - Islamic Library image): Ḥaddathanā Suwayd ibn Saʿīd, who informed us that Suwayd ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz narrated from Thābit ibn ʿAjlān from Salīm ibn ʿĀmir who said: I heard Abū Bakr say: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. He said: So I went out and ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb met me and said: What is wrong, Abū Bakr? I said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to me: Go out... (the ḥadīth). ʿUmar said: Return to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) for I fear that they will rely on it, so I returned to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and he said: What brought you back? I informed him of ʿUmar's statement, and he said: "He is right." I say: This isnād is weak, and Suwayd ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz is lenient in ḥadīth as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb," and al-Haythamī criticized it in "al-Majmaʿ" (1/15) saying: "He is abandoned."
