3 - As for the ḥadīth of Anas, it is: "I fear for my community after me the denial of predestination and belief in the stars." It was narrated by Abū Yaʿlá in his "Musnad" (1023) and Ibn ʿAdī (196/1) from Shihāb ibn Khurāsh from Yazīd al-Raqāshī, who reported from Anas as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. And he said: "Shihāb, in some of his narrations, has what is disapproved of, and I do not know any of the early scholars having spoken about him, so I mention it." I said: al-Dhahabī said: "He is a well-known truthful person who has some narrations that are disapproved of... they have deemed him reliable." And his teacher Yazīd al-Raqāshī is weak. 4 - As for the ḥadīth of Jābir, its wording is: "Three things I fear for my community: seeking rain through the stars, the tyranny of the ruler, and the denial of predestination." It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/90), his son, and Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (324) and al-Ṭabarānī (1/92/1) from Muḥammad ibn al-Qāsim al-Asadī, who reported from Fiṭr from Abū Khālid al-Wālibī from him. From this chain, it was also recorded by Abū Yaʿlá in his "Musnad" (p. 1802) and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Ṣaghīr" (182) and others. Al-Haythamī said: "In it is Muḥammad ibn al-Qāsim al-Asadī, whom Ibn Maʿīn deemed reliable, but Aḥmad accused him of lying and the rest of the imams deemed him weak." I said: he is extremely weak, so his ḥadīth should not be used as evidence, and what came before is sufficient.

- "Pray in the sheepfolds and wipe their mucus, for they are among the animals of Paradise." It was narrated by Ibn ʿAdī (276/1) and from him by al-Bayhaqī (2/449) from Kathīr ibn Zayd from al-Walīd ibn Rabāḥ from Abū Hurayrah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. And he said: "I did not see any harm in his ḥadīth, and I hope there is no harm in him."
