I have previously explained something of his condition and mentioned examples of the ḥadīths he weakened in the second volume, which was recently published in this series. Readers should refer to its introduction and some of the corrections printed at the end, which I hope will soon be within their reach, if Allāh wills. Since he also weakened several ḥadīths from this first volume of "al-Ṣaḥīḥah," I felt it necessary to clarify his error in this and his opposition to the principles and judgments of the scholars of this field. 1- The ḥadīth (12 - Do not take up farming...) This ḥadīth is among those authentic ḥadīths that the aforementioned person extracted from the book "Riyāḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn" along with dozens of other ḥadīths, all of which he weakened and published under this name without them. However, he gathered them in a special section appended to the end of his edition under the title: "The Weak Ḥadīths Removed from the Original Book"!! One of the peculiarities is that his referencing of these ḥadīths was mostly derived from my books and my references. He places them before him, then critiques them according to his whim, without mentioning anything that contradicts him. For example, this ḥadīth was strengthened by a group of eminent scholars; such as al-Tirmidhī, Ibn Ḥibbān, al-Ḥākim, and al-Dhahabī, and before them al-Nawawī and al-Mizzī, and then the ḥadīth scholar al-ʿAsqalānī, as well as the commentator on the ḥadīth, al-Qurṭubī, who combined it with other authentic ḥadīths.
