It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (1/11/2) and al-Ḥākim (3/113), who said: "Authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī." Al-Haythamī said (9/137): "Its isnād is good," as they both stated, but there is some scrutiny needed, which is unnecessary to detail because it is good in supporting evidence. Al-Haythamī also said afterward: "It was narrated by Abū Yaʿlá, and in it is the father of ʿAlī ibn al-Madīnī, who is weak." 2 - As for the ḥadīth of ʿAmmār, it is narrated by Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq, who said: Yazīd ibn Muḥammad Khuthaym al-Muḥāribī narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Kaʿb al-Quraẓī from Muḥammad ibn Khuthaym Abū Yazīd from him in a marfūʿ manner. It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/263) and al-Ḥākim (3/140-141), who said: "Authentic according to the criteria of Muslim." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him! However, this is one of their errors, as neither Muslim recorded anything from Muḥammad ibn Khuthaym or his son Yazīd. Moreover, they are considered unknown; Ibn Ḥibbān authenticated them, and Ibn Maʿīn said about Yazīd: "There is no harm in him." As for the criticism of disconnection between Abū Yazīd and ʿAmmār, there is no basis for it, contrary to what al-Haythamī said (9/136): "It was narrated by Aḥmad, al-Ṭabarānī, and al-Bazzār in abridged form, and all the men are trustworthy except that the Successor did not hear from ʿAmmār." 3 - As for the ḥadīth of Ṣuhayb, it was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī and Abū Yaʿlá, and in it is Rushdīn ibn Saʿd, who has been deemed reliable, and the rest of its men are trustworthy, as al-Haythamī said (9/136).
"Allāh has given an excuse to a person whose life He extends until he reaches sixty years." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (11/200 - Fatḥ) through the route of ʿAmr ibn ʿAlī (who is al-Muqaddamī) from Muʿanʿan Muḥammad al-Ghifārī from Saʿīd ibn Abī Saʿīd al-Maqburī from Abū Hurayrah from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), who said: and he mentioned it. He said: "Abū Ḥāzim and Ibn ʿAjlān corroborated it from al-Maqburī." It was also recorded by al-Ḥākim (2/427-428) and Aḥmad (2/275) through the route of Maʿmar from a man of Banū Ghifār from Saʿīd al-Maqburī with it, and its wording:
