"This Muṣʿab is unknown, and his ḥadīths from reliable narrators are not preserved." ʿUqaylī said (416): "There is a concern in his ḥadīth." As for ʿImrān ibn al-Rabīʿ, I did not find a biography for him. 2 - As for the ḥadīth of Ibn Abī Awfá, it is narrated by Abū ʿUbaydah Saʿīd ibn Zarabī from Thābit al-Banānī from Nufayʿ ibn al-Ḥārith from him in a marfūʿ manner similar to it. It was recorded by Abū Nuʿaym in "Ṣifat al-Jannah." I said: This isnād is very weak, this Nufayʿ is abandoned, and Ibn Maʿīn declared him a liar. Ibn Zarabī is denounced in ḥadīth as mentioned in "Taqrīb." In summary, the ḥadīth is authentic from some of its routes from Jābir, and Allāh knows best.

- "The most wretched of the former generations is the one who hamstrung the she-camel, and the most wretched of the latter generations is the one who will stab you, O ʿAlī."
