then let him recite * (When the sun is wrapped up) * and * (When the sky is cleft asunder) * and * (When the sky is split open) *." It was narrated by al-Tirmidhī (2/235), Ibn Naṣr in "al-Qiyām" (58), al-Ḥākim (4/576), and ʿAbd al-Ghanī al-Maqdisī in "Dhikr al-Nār" (222/1) through the route of al-Ṭabarānī from two paths from ʿAbd al-Razzāq, then from the route of Aḥmad, and this is in "al-Musnad" (2/27, 36, and 100) from him, as well as Ibn Abī al-Dunyā in "al-Ahwāl" (Q 2/1) from him. ʿAbd Allāh ibn Buḥayr al-Ṣanʿānī said: I heard ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yazīd al-Ṣanʿānī say: I heard Ibn ʿUmar say: and he mentioned it as marfūʿ. Then al-Tirmidhī and al-Maqdisī said: "This is a ḥasan gharīb ḥadīth." Al-Ḥākim said: "It has a ṣaḥīḥ isnād." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him. And it is as they said, its narrators are trustworthy, and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yazīd was deemed reliable by Ibn Ḥibbān, and a group narrated from him, and he was virtuous.

"My basin is between Aden and Oman; its water is whiter than snow and sweeter than honey. The majority of those who come to it are the poor among the emigrants, with disheveled hair and dirty clothes, who do not marry the luxurious women, nor are the doors of the sedd opened for them, who give the right that is upon them and are not given what is due to them." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī (1/147/1-2) who said: Abū Zurʿah al-Dimashqī narrated to us, he said: Abū Mushir ʿAbd al-Aʿlá ibn Mushir narrated to us, Ṣadaqah ibn Khālid narrated to us from Zayd ibn Wāqid from Abū Salām al-Aswad from Thawbān as marfūʿ. I say: And this isnād is ṣaḥīḥ, all its narrators are trustworthy and well-known. And it has another path with him, he narrated it (148/1) from Isḥāq ibn Rāshid from al-Zuhrī from Sulaymān ibn Yasār from Thawbān with it. And its narrators are all trustworthy, all of them are the narrators of al-Bukhārī except for Ḥafṣ ibn ʿUmar ibn al-Ṣabāḥ al-Raqī, the shaykh of al-Ṭabarānī, whom Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned in "al-Thiqāt" and said: "He might err." The ḥadīth was also narrated by Aḥmad, al-Tirmidhī, Ibn Mājah, and al-Ḥākim from another path from Abū Salām al-Aswad from Thawbān as marfūʿ. I say: And this isnād is ṣaḥīḥ, all its narrators are trustworthy and well-known.
