and the first sentence has more than one supporting narration, its source is in "Irwāʾ al-Ghalīl." The other sentence also has supporting narrations as mentioned earlier, so the ḥadīth is authentic when considered in its entirety. All praise is due to Allāh for His guidance.

"There is not a space in the lowest heaven the size of a foot except that there is an angel prostrating or standing, and that is the saying of the angels: * 'And there is none among us except that he has a known position, and indeed, we are those who line up, and indeed, we are those who glorify Allāh' *." It was recorded by Ibn Naṣr in "al-Ṣalāh" (44/1) from Abū Muʿādh al-Faḍl ibn Khālid al-Naḥwī, who said: ʿUbayd ibn Sulaymān al-Bāhilī narrated to us, saying: I heard al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn Muzāḥim narrating from Masrūq ibn al-Ajdaʿ from ʿĀʾishah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā) that she said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said," and then he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is good in terms of supporting narrations, its narrators are trustworthy except for this al-Faḍl, as Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned him (3/2/61) from the narration of two trustworthy narrators about him without mentioning any criticism or praise. Then it was narrated from the path of Muslim ibn Ṣubayḥ from Abū al-Ḍuḥā from Masrūq from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Masʿūd (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) who said: and then he mentioned it as a mawqūf narration with brevity, and it is considered marfūʿ, and its isnād is authentic.
"Do you hear what I hear?" They said: "We do not hear anything." He said: "I hear the creaking of the sky, and it has every right to creak, for there is not a space of a handspan in it except that there is an angel prostrating or standing." It was recorded by Ibn Naṣr in "al-Ṣalāh" (43/2) from Ṣafwān ibn Muḥriz from Ḥakīm ibn Ḥizām (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) who said: "While the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was with his Companions (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhum), he said to them..." and then he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is authentic, all its narrators are trustworthy
