and the other: from Ismāʿīl ibn Yazīd: Hishām ibn ʿUbayd Allāh narrated to us: Ḥakīm ibn Nāfiʿ narrated to us: ʿAṭāʾ al-Khurāsānī narrated to me from him. It was recorded by Abū Nuʿaym in "Akhbār Aṣbahān" (1/209) in the biography of this Ismāʿīl, whose grandfather's name is Ḥurayth ibn Mardānabah al-Qaṭṭān, and he said: "Some of his ḥadīth became confused in his later days." And ʿAṭāʾ al-Khurāsānī is the son of Abū Muslim, truthful but errs frequently, and he transmits and practices tadlīs. And it was narrated by Isḥāq ibn Rāhwayh in "Musnad" from Abū Hurayrah as in "al-Fatḥ." 4 - As for the ḥadīth of Ibn Masʿūd, it will be discussed in the following ḥadīth. 5 - As for the ḥadīth of Mujāhid, it was narrated by Ibn Wahb in "al-Jāmiʿ" (p. 76) from Ibn Zuḥr from Sulaymān ibn Mihrān from him, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it and added: "and betrayal," and it is weak due to its being mursal and because of Ibn Zuḥr, whose name is ʿUbayd Allāh, for he is weak. 6 - As for the ḥadīth of al-Ḥasan, it was narrated by Ibn al-Mubārak in "al-Birr wa-al-Ṣilah" from ʿAwf from him, who said: It reached me that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. (1) And this isnād is authentic but also mursal; however, when combined with the previous connected isnād, it gains strength, and the sum of that indicates that the ḥadīth has a basis, as al-Ḥāfiẓ said, especially since some of it is good in itself, like the first and second ḥadīth, and similarly the upcoming ḥadīth of Ibn Masʿūd. Thus, the ḥadīth is certainly authentic, and al-Bukhārī mentioned it in "Ṣaḥīḥ" with certainty.

- "Whoever cheats us is not one of us, and deceit and trickery are in the Fire." It was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān (1107), al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Ṣaghīr" (p. 153) and "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (3/69/1), and Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (4/188) through various chains from Abū Khalīfah al-Faḍl ibn al-Ḥabāb, who narrated to us: ʿUthmān ibn al-Haytham al-Muʾadhdhin narrated to us: my father from ʿĀṣim from Zur ibn Ḥubaysh from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Masʿūd, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I said: And this isnād is good, as I have clarified in "al-Rawḍ al-Naḍīr" (641), and "Irwāʾ al-Ghalīl" (1307)
