"Whoever has two sisters or two daughters and treats them well as long as they are with him, I and he will be in Paradise like these two." And he joined his fingers. Narrated by al-Khaṭīb in "Tārīkh" (8/284 - 285) through the route of al-Aʿmash from Anas, attributed [to the Prophet]. Its narrators are trustworthy, but it is disconnected because al-Aʿmash did not establish hearing from the Companions, as in "Taqrīb." However, the ḥadīth is authentic, as it has other connected routes from Anas, some of which are in Muslim, and it has been previously extracted under numbers (295 - 297). It is supported by the following ḥadīth: "Whoever has three daughters whom he shelters, provides for, and shows mercy to, Paradise is certainly obligatory for him." A man from among the people said: "And two, O Messenger of Allāh?" He said: "And two."

"Whoever has three daughters whom he shelters, provides for, and shows mercy to, Paradise is certainly obligatory for him." A man from among the people said: "And two, O Messenger of Allāh?" He said: "And two." Narrated by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (p. 14) and Aḥmad (3/303) through the route of ʿAlī ibn Zayd who said: Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir told me that Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh told them, saying: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. This isnād is good in "follow-ups," its narrators are trustworthy, narrators of the two Shaykhs except for ʿAlī ibn Zayd, who is Ibn Judʿān, and he is weak due to his memory. But he was followed by Sufyān ibn Ḥusayn from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir. And he added: "until we thought that if someone said: 'One?' he would say: 'One.'" Narrated by Abū Yaʿlá (2/591) and its isnād is authentic according to the criteria of Muslim. The ḥadīth was mentioned in "al-Targhīb" (3/84 - 85) and he said:
