In the name of Allāh, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Introduction to the Second Edition. Indeed, all praise is due to Allāh, we praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allāh from the evils of ourselves and the misdeeds of our actions. Whomsoever Allāh guides, none can mislead, and whomsoever He leads astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allāh, alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muḥammad is His servant and messenger. As for what follows, I present today to the beloved readers the third volume of "The Series of Authentic Ḥadīths" in its beautiful second edition, after the copies of the first edition were exhausted and the demand for it increased. The circumstances were favorable for its reprinting using the photographic method known today as (offset). Therefore, I reviewed it, refined it, added some beneficial additions, and corrected the typographical errors that were in it, to the extent that the mentioned method allowed me. I placed the rest of the additions and benefits at the end of the book under the title: (Addendum and Correction), indicating them by placing them in square brackets []. I appended this with seven indexes, replacing the four indexes that were in the first edition; because they were not written by me, nor were they arranged in the precise scholarly order that I followed in the volumes before and after it. This is because most of the volume was printed while I was in Amman, so others among our young brothers in Syria undertook the correction of its proofs and the preparation of its indexes. All praise is due to Allāh who facilitated for me its reprinting, overseeing its correction, and the preparation of its indexes.
