and in the chapter, there is a narration from Anas with the wording: "Allāh, the Exalted, revealed to Mūsá...". It is part of another book's section (3901).

- "I am merely a treasurer, and it is Allāh who gives. Whoever I give a gift to with a content heart, it is for him to be blessed. But whoever I give a gift to out of greed, and his greed is a question, he is like one who eats and is never satisfied." This was recorded by Aḥmad in ḥadīths whose isnād will appear in: (A group from my nation will remain) under number (1971), and it was also recorded by Muslim (3/95). Both of them have it through the route of Muʿāwiyah ibn Ṣāliḥ, who narrated from Rabīʿah ibn Yazīd al-Dimashqī, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿĀmir al-Yaḥṣabī, who said: I heard Muʿāwiyah say it, and he mentioned it as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Ibn Lahīʿah also narrated it from Jaʿfar ibn Rabīʿah, from Rabīʿah ibn Yazīd with it. Aḥmad also recorded it (4/100). This isnād is ḥasan in follow-ups. There is another route with the wording: "I am merely a messenger..." and it will appear, Allāh willing (1628). Ibn ʿAsākir also recorded it (16/327/1) through the route of Muʿāwiyah ibn Isḥāq al-Dimashqī, from Yazīd ibn Rabīʿah, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿĀmir al-Ḥaḍramī with it. He mentioned it in the biography of Muʿāwiyah ibn Isḥāq without mentioning any criticism or commendation.
