- "Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every prayer, nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise except death." It was recorded by Ibn al-Sunni (no. 121), who said: Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd Allāh ibn al-Faḍl al-Kalāʿī al-Ḥimṣī narrated to us, and he was narrated to by al-Yamān ibn Saʿīd and Aḥmad ibn Hārūn, both in al-Maṣīṣah, who said: Muḥammad ibn Ḥumayr narrated to us from Muḥammad ibn Ziyād al-Alhānī from Abū Umāmah al-Bāhilī (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: I said: And this isnād is weak. Al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Lisān": "Our Shaykh mentioned in the appendix that al-Dāraqutnī said in 'al-Muʾtalif wa-al-Mukhtalif': unknown, and Ibn Mākūlā followed him." I said: And his peer Aḥmad ibn Hārūn, al-Dhahabī said: "He narrated oddities from the trustworthy, as Ibn ʿAdī said." Al-Ḥāfiẓ said: "And Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him among the trustworthy." And the rest of the men of the isnād are trustworthy according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī. And the ḥadīth is authentic as it came through another route or routes from Ibn Ḥumayr.
