- "The religion will continue to stand until the Hour is established or there are twelve caliphs over you, all of them from Quraysh." Narrated by Muslim (6/4) and Aḥmad (5/86, 87, 88, 89) through the route of Ḥātim ibn Ismāʿīl from al-Muhājir ibn Mismār from ʿĀmir ibn Saʿd ibn Abī Waqqāṣ from Jābir ibn Samurah, elevated. There are many other routes for this ḥadīth from Jābir similar to it, so refer to the previously mentioned ḥadīth (375).

- "The people of the West will continue to be dominant until the Hour is established." Narrated by Muslim (6/54), Ibn al-Aʿrābī in "al-Muʿjam" (31/1/112/1), al-Jurjānī (424), al-Dūrqī in "Musnad Saʿd" (3/136/2), and Ibn Mandah in "al-Maʿrifah" (2/179/1) from the ḥadīth of Abū ʿUthmān from Saʿd ibn Abī Waqqāṣ, elevated. Know that the intended meaning of "the people of the West" in this ḥadīth is the people of Shām, as they are located in the northwestern direction relative to al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah, where the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) spoke this noble ḥadīth. In it is a great glad tiding for those in it who are supporters of the sunnah, adhering to it, defending it, and being patient in the path of calling to it. We ask Allāh, the Exalted, to make us among them and to gather us in their company under the banner of its possessor, Muḥammad (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam).
