and Aḥmad (2/389, 515, 527). al-Ḥākim said: "Authentic according to the conditions of Muslim." al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. Among them is Saʿīd ibn Abī Saʿīd al-Maqburī, and his wording is: "Whoever sits in a place and does not mention Allāh in it, it will be a cause of regret for him from Allāh. And whoever lies down in a place and does not mention Allāh in it, it will be a cause of regret for him from Allāh."
- "Whoever sits in a place and does not mention Allāh in it, it will be a cause of regret for him from Allāh. And whoever lies down in a place and does not mention Allāh in it, it will be a cause of regret for him from Allāh." It was narrated by Abū Dāwūd (4856, 5059), and al-Ḥumaydī in "Musnad" (1158) the first part, and Ibn al-Sunnī (743) the second part only through the route of Muḥammad ibn ʿAjlān from him. I say: This isnād is good. al-Mundhirī attributed it in "al-Targhīb" (2/235) to Abū Dāwūd with this wording and with an addition:
