and this is mursal, with a sound isnād except that Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz experienced confusion before his death. However, I found a good concise corroboration of the ḥadīth with the wording: "Indeed, the believer is like a camel with a pierced nose; wherever it is led, it follows." Thus, the ḥadīth is ḥasan. It is at the end of the ḥadīth that follows. The first part of it has corroborations that will come after the mentioned ḥadīth.

"I have left you upon clear guidance; its night is like its day. No one deviates from it after me except that he is destroyed. Whoever among you lives will see much difference, so adhere to what you know of my sunnah and the sunnah of the rightly guided caliphs, cling to it with your molar teeth. And adhere to obedience even if an Abyssinian slave is appointed over you, for indeed, the believer is like a camel with a pierced nose; wherever it is led, it follows." It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (43), al-Ḥākim (1/96), and Aḥmad (4/126) through the route of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAmr al-Sulamī, who heard al-ʿIrbāḍ ibn Sāriyah say: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) gave us an admonition that made the eyes weep and the hearts tremble. We said: O Messenger of Allāh, this is as if it were a farewell admonition, so what do you enjoin upon us? He said..." and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is ṣaḥīḥ; all its men are trustworthy and well-known, except for this ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAmr. Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt," and a group of trustworthy narrators reported from him. Al-Tirmidhī, Ibn Ḥibbān, and al-Ḥākim authenticated it as in "al-Tahdhīb." Ibn Ḥibbān also recorded this ḥadīth through another route from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAmr, paired with Ḥujr ibn Ḥujr al-Kalāʿī, from al-ʿIrbāḍ, without the phrase: "for indeed, the believer..." Likewise, it was recorded from the first route by al-Mukhliṣ in "Sabʿat Majālis" (folio 51/1), and from him by Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (11/265/2), al-Lālakāʾī in "Sharḥ al-Sunnah" (228/1 - Kawākib 576), and al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī in "al-Aḥādīth al-Mukhtārah" (10/104/2), and also..
