and "Ḥārithah was the most dutiful of this ummah to his mother." Maʿmar also connected it from al-Zuhrī from ʿAmrah from ʿĀʾishah with it, and it includes the addition in the wording: "and he was the most dutiful of people to his mother." It was recorded by Aḥmad (6/151-152), al-Baghawī in "Sharḥ al-Sunnah" (3/420 - Maktab edition), and Ibn al-Najjār in "Dhail al-Tārīkh" (10/134/2) through the route of ʿAbd al-Razzāq who informed us from Maʿmar with it. In the narration of ʿAbd al-Razzāq: "I slept, and I saw myself in Paradise, and I heard the voice of a reciter reciting..." the ḥadīth is similar. It was recorded by Aḥmad (166-167) and Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (1/6/356) and he said: "It was narrated by Ibn Abī ʿAtīq from al-Zuhrī from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib from Abū Hurayrah similarly."

"The parent is the middle gate of Paradise." It was recorded by al-Ṭayālisī in "Musnad" (no. 981): Shuʿbah narrated to us from ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib from Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sulamī from Abū al-Dardāʾ who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: and he mentioned it. It was likewise recorded by Aḥmad (5/196), Ibn Mājah (2089), and al-Ḥākim (4/152) through another route from Shuʿbah with it. Al-Ḥākim said: "The isnād is authentic." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. Sufyān al-Thawrī followed him: ʿAṭāʾ narrated to us with it, and his wording: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sulamī narrated to me.
