It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (3/209/2) and Ibn ʿAsākir in "al-Tārīkh" (18/1/2) from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Qays al-Ḍabbī, who informed us from Sakīn ibn Abī Sirāj, who informed us from ʿAmr ibn Dīnār from Ibn ʿUmar: "that a man came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: O Messenger of Allāh, who are the people most beloved to Allāh and what are the deeds most beloved to Allāh?
