and he was followed by ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn Bakht, as Ibn Wahb said: Dāwūd ibn Qays informed me about it from him, without his saying "and similar to this." Its isnād is also a valid mursal, but Ibn Bakht had settled in Syria, so it is possible that he received it from al-Yaḥṣubī, thus one does not strengthen the other, as is apparent.
