and this isnād consists entirely of trustworthy and well-known men, except for Miḥjan. He is mentioned in "al-Taʿjīl" from this isnād, and it is said: "Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" and in "al-Majmaʿ" (5/106): "Aḥmad and al-Bazzār narrated it, and the men of Aḥmad are trustworthy." It is also attributed in "al-Jāmiʿ" to Abū Yaʿlá, and the commentator said: "It was also narrated by al-Ḥārith ibn Abī Usāmah, al-Daylamī, and others." I said: The ḥadīth has a corroborating narration with the wording: "The evil eye is real and can bring down a mountain," which strengthens it, and it will appear (1250). Then I saw the ḥadīth in "al-Kāmil" by Ibn ʿAdī, who extracted it through the chain of Abū Yaʿlá from Daylam from Miḥjan without mentioning Abū Ḥarb between them. Then Ibn ʿAdī extracted it through another chain from Daylam ibn Ghazwān, who said: Wahb ibn Abī Dubayy narrated to us from Abū Ḥarb from Abū Miḥjan.

- "Control your tongue, let your house suffice you, and weep over your sin." It was extracted by Ibn al-Mubārak in "al-Zuhd" number (134), and from him by Aḥmad (5/259), as well as al-Tirmidhī (2/65) through the chain of ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Zahr from ʿAlī ibn Yazīd from al-Qāsim from Abū Umāmah from ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir al-Juhanī, who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allāh! What is salvation? He said..." and he mentioned it. And he said: "A good ḥadīth." And there is an indication of the weakness of its isnād, which is due to Ibn Zahr and Ibn Yazīd, who is al-Alhānī
