It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/346) with a sound chain of narration as well, as stated by the ḥāfiẓ, and it is complete in "al-Fawāʾid" (132/1). 5 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, it is narrated by Sahl from his father from him: "that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was on Ḥirāʾ with Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, ʿUthmān, ʿAlī, Ṭalḥah, and al-Zubayr, and the rock moved, so the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: 'Be calm, for upon you is none but a prophet, a truthful one, or a martyr.'" It was recorded by Muslim (7/128), al-Tirmidhī (4/319), Aḥmad (2/419), and al-Khaṭīb (8/161), and al-Tirmidhī said: "A sound ḥadīth." Muslim added in his narration: "and Saʿd ibn Abī Waqqāṣ." Aḥmad added, and it is found in al-Bukhārī's "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (337), al-Tirmidhī (2/309) who graded it as good, and Abū Nuʿaym (9/42): "And the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: 'What an excellent man Abū Bakr is, what an excellent man ʿUmar is, what an excellent man Abū ʿUbaydah ibn al-Jarrāḥ is, what an excellent man Usayd ibn Ḥuḍayr is, what an excellent man Thābit ibn Qays ibn Shamās is, what an excellent man Muʿādh ibn Jabal is, what an excellent man Muʿādh ibn ʿAmr ibn al-Jamūḥ is.'" Its chain is sound according to the criteria of Muslim, and it was authenticated by Ibn Ḥibbān (2217), and al-Ḥākim (3/233, 268, 246) said: "Sound according to the criteria of Muslim." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him.
