"Do you wish to strive in supplication? Say: O Allāh, assist us in thanking You, remembering You, and in perfecting our worship of You." It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/299) and from him by Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (9/223) with a sound isnād from Abū Qurrah Mūsá ibn Ṭāriq from Mūsá ibn ʿUqbah from Abū Ṣāliḥ al-Sammān and ʿAṭāʾ ibn Yasār—or one of them—from Abū Hurayrah from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) that he said: and he mentioned it. And he said: "It is rare from the ḥadīth of Mūsá ibn ʿUqbah, exclusively narrated by Abū Qurrah Mūsá ibn Ṭāriq." I say: He is trustworthy, and those above him are trustworthy from the men of the two Shaykhs, so the isnād is sound. It was also recorded by al-Ḥākim (1/499) through the route of Khārijah ibn Muṣʿab from Mūsá ibn ʿUqbah with it, and he said: "The isnād is sound, for Khārijah was only criticized for narrating from unknowns, and when he narrates from trustworthy and reliable narrators, his narration is accepted." I say: And al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and this is refuted against them, especially al-Dhahabī, for he mentioned Khārijah in "al-Ḍuʿafāʾ" and said: "al-Dāraqutnī and others weakened him." And al-Ḥākim's statement: "He was only criticized for narrating from unknowns" is something I have not seen from other critical scholars, rather he was accused of lying as in a narration from Ibn Maʿīn and also accused of tadlīs, as Yaḥyá ibn Yaḥyá—who is the narrator of this ḥadīth from him—said: he used to perform tadlīs from Ghayāth ibn Ibrāhīm, and Ghayāth's ḥadīth is lost, and his authentic ḥadīth is not known from others
